soothe my day.
listening to nostalgic music. especially if i still actually like that music. mgmt and phoenix and eminem and passion pit and skrillex. i love listening to the music that i listened to in april. it makes me so happy to reminisce about when me and conor first started dating and when me and kyle and jess first started being friends. like, that was the start of so much. the beginning of life as we know it. it’s fucking beautiful to me. junior year music, lawl. fucking breathe carolina and brokencyde and shit. at least first semester. second semester was passion pit and dubstep and that april was in that semester. but then there’s music from sophomore year. the61 shit and crappy pop music like white tie affair and relient k and shit. and freshman year with sierra, shit like jason mraz and early lady gaga. fucking eighth grade linkin park and rage against the machine and mindless self indulgence and shit. i’ve liked some really crappy music haha. but i still love listening to all of it just so i can go back to a certain time and pretend that things are easy again. but then i realize that i’m actually happy now so i’m way better off. also, my taste in music is substantially less shitty now.
